This information is provided for the Websites and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.
The policy is also based on Recommendation No. 2/2001, which the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group established by Article 29 of Directive No. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001, to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.
The "data controller"
Following consultation of the Websites, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The data controller is Zetalinea Srl, Via Malopera Nord 2587, Badia Polesine (RO).
Place of data processing
The processing operations connected to the services of the Websites take place at the aforementioned headquarters of Zetalinea Srl and are carried out only by personnel in charge of processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.
The data derived from the web service may be communicated to the technological and instrumental partners that the Data Controller uses to provide the services requested by visiting users.
Personal data provided by visitors who request information material (requests for information, answers to questions, etc.) or other communications (orders) are used solely for the purpose of performing the service or provision requested and are disclosed to third parties only if this is necessary for that purpose (provision of the services requested through the technological and instrumental partner).
Types of data processed
Browsing data
During normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Websites acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the computers connecting to the site to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Websites, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
This data may be used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Websites and to check their correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data provided voluntarily by visitors
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of personal data to access certain services, or to make requests for information to the addresses indicated on the Websites, involves the subsequent acquisition of the personal data included in the sender's request, which is necessary to respond to such requests.
Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the website dedicated to particular services on request.
Cookies
Cookies are computer files that can be saved on the user's computer (or other devices enabled for internet browsing, such as smartphones or tablets) when they visit websites. A cookie usually contains the name of the website from which the cookie originates and the 'lifetime' of the cookie (i.e., how long it will remain on the user's device).
Cookies included as essential for the functioning of the Websites
The Websites use persistent proprietary cookies for the sole purpose of providing a more efficient service (no marketing function).
The use of other persistent cookies and session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the full provision of the services and functions of the Websites.
The cookies used on the Websites avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of data that directly identifies the user.
Those interested who do not want Zetalinea Srl's proprietary cookies can delete them simply by going to the privacy settings of their browser and selecting the option to delete cookies.
Cookies inserted for the purpose of aggregate analysis of visits to the site
The Websites use aggregate browsing data analysis tools that allow them to be improved, namely Web Trends and Google Analytics, systems made available by Google Inc.
In particular, Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on the user's computer in order to allow the website operator to analyze how users use the websites. The information generated by the cookie about the user's use of the websites (including the IP address anonymized by removing some digits) will be transmitted to and stored on Google's servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of tracking and examining the user's use of the Websites, compiling reports on Website activity for Website operators, and providing other services relating to Website activity and Internet usage.
To protect user privacy as much as possible, Zetalinea Srl applies the 'IP masking' option provided by Google Analytics, which requires the system to obscure the last 8 digits of the visitor's IP address before any processing, effectively making the analyzed data anonymous.
How to disable cookies
Most internet browsers are initially set to accept cookies automatically. Users can change these settings to block cookies or to warn them when cookies are being sent to their device. There are various ways to manage cookies. Users can refer to their browser's instruction manual or help screen to find out how to adjust or change their browser settings.
In the case of different devices (e.g., computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.), the user must ensure that each browser on each device is adjusted to reflect their cookie preferences.
Third-party cookies
When the user visits advertising banners on the Websites, some cookies that are not owned by Zetalinea Srl may be downloaded to the user's computer, and Zetalinea Srl has no control over their settings. If you have any doubts about these cookies, we suggest you check the websites of the entities that publish the banners to obtain further information about their cookies and understand how to manage them.
Optional provision of data
Apart from what has been specified for navigation data, users are free to provide their personal data through the use of the appropriate sections of the Websites and to request or solicit the sending of informative material or other communications.
Failure to provide such information may only result in the inability to obtain what has been requested.
For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of the Websites), the Authority may request news and information pursuant to Article 157 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In such cases, a response is mandatory, under penalty of administrative sanctions.
Treatment methods
Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
Zetalinea Srl has adopted all the minimum security measures required by law to minimize the risks relating to the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the personal data collected and processed.
Rights of data subjects
The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction (Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).
Pursuant to the same article, you have the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their processing in any case, for legitimate reasons.
Requests should be addressed to Zetalinea Srl as the Data Controller.
